WHAT TO EXPECT IN MAGALUF
Magaluf has been Europe’s wildest party destination for over a decade and its easy to see why, the nightlife there has been described as ‘wild’, ‘boisterous’ and ‘vibrant’ which leaves its visitors full of memories of fishbowl cocktails and hangovers spent relaxing by the pool.
Magaluf has been dubbed the cheap Ibiza providing 2-4-1 drink deals with shots and fishbowls included which makes it a challenge to break the bank. Another reason Magaluf is so popular is its short flight time from the UK, totalling to two whole hours, this means flights tend to be low in price making Magaluf the perfect cheap getaway.
WHAT TYPE OF PEOPLE GET JOBS IN MAGALUF?
To be the right person to work in Magaluf you’ll need to love the sun, as temperatures can pass 30 oC in peak summer, you’ll definitely need to like to party, free drinks while working helps!, and you’ll need to love cocktails in the sun besides the pool during your days off. You’ll find Magaluf workers vary in age, personality, and appearance so anyone can work here.
Almost all workers will travel to Magaluf by themselves, so there is no need to be nervous about travelling solo as you won’t be alone! Once you have secured your place you will be added into a private Facebook group so you can get chatting to others and make friends before you fly,
WHAT TYPE OF JOBS ARE AVAILABLE IN MAGALUF?
Majority of the jobs in Magaluf of course revolve around the nightlife, this includes bar work, pr-ing, shot selling, glass collecting, dancing and ticket selling, there are also jobs off of the strip working in restaurants or event shops. WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO GO TO MAGALUF?
The earlier the better as it gives you more time on the island, if you’re a first time worker this is considerably true as it is easier to get to know your surroundings and settle in when its quieter rather than being thrown into the deep end mid season. Our dates run from May to June, but you can stay on for the closing parties – we’ll help you secure further accommodation when you’re out there.
WHAT ARE THE WAGES LIKE IN MAGALUF?
For jobs on the strip the average wage is €60 per shift, and this doesn’t include tips or commission. This makes Magaluf the most popular resort to work in as the wages are so high compared to the cost of living. If you work on commission and are keen to make as much money as possible you may be able to earn over €200 a day in peak season.
HOW MANY HOURS A DAY WILL I BE WORKING IN MAGALUF?
The amount of hours and shifts you work will completey depend on what job you choose and where you work, a typical night time job working on the strip will be between 6-8 hours, starting between 8pm-10pm, this leaves you free all day to explore Magaluf and its top attractions.

HOW DO I FIND JOBS IN MAGALUF?
The beauty of coming abroad with Sunseeker workers is that we do all the hard work for you, you will have a dedicated team of reps that will help you in securing your dream job. You reps will be able to give you as much help as you need including information on all the bars, clubs, restaurants and events that are recruiting staff, they will also organise recruitment days for some of the bigger bars and set up trial shifts for you.
At Sunseeker Workers we have been building strong relationships with the majority of the job providers in Magaluf, this means we are the first to know when they are hiring and what kind of person they are looking for, it also means that they give us first pick in filling their vacancies.
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I ARRIVE IN MAGALUF?
You’ll be met are the airport by one of our reps who will get you onto your transfer into resort! You will then be greeted by another rep who will take you through check in procedures and give you your welcome meeting. We usually ask our guests to use their first week to get their bearings and settle into their new home, so feel free to treat it as a holiday and enjoy the arranged bar crawls, parties and days out

Where will I be staying in Magaluf?
We use a number of different apartments in Magaluf, where we use depends on availability and whether we sell out. Allocation is normally on arrival but most apartments are the same with all the necessities needed. All are within walking distance to the beach, the strip and shopping centres. For pictures of where you will be staying please contact your allocated rep who can provide you with a better idea.
How many people share an apartment?
The apartments are normally based on 4-6 with 2 persons sharing a room. Who you share with depends on whether you decide to come out with a friend, if not we will give you the option to choose who you want to share with once introduced to other guests coming out to work with you in the summer.

What happens after my first month with SUNSEEKER WORKERS?
After the initial 28 days you’ll have the option to extend your stay in our accommodation at a discounted rate, or our devoted reps can assist in finding alternative accommodation if you’d prefer.
Do I have to pay any extras such for my apartment?
The price that we cover is all bills included, the only extra you will need to pay is a small damage deposit which is refundable on departure as long as you don’t damage anything and leave with notice. The deposit is normally between 150 – 200 euros per person.
